Newspapers and magazines have become an everyday part of life, with people buying them by the millions on a daily basis. Stories from all over the world can be found in the days daily newspaper. Most magazine outlets have a stand or shop in the airport, train station and bus station, and most big outlets such as WH Smith can be found on the high street too. Even the remotest of villages have the daily newspapers delivered to their stores, as do the big caravan sights. This facility even extends to a visit abroad and daily and Sunday newspapers have all picked up on the need that people like to know the news wherever they may be. There are also magazines which are dedicated to the lives of celebrities and they report everything from what’s hot in the celebrity world, what the latest in fashion is and what jewellery the celebrity has on whether it be Pearls (Perlen) or Tahiti Pearl (Tahiti Perle). Newspapers and magazines also offer big designers and jewellers to show off their items on celebrities, by loaning them clothing to attend the Oscars or the Grammies in. Magazines can also be viewed via the internet and many of the glossy magazines have their own page on the web. So all the gossip can be found out in ones lunch hour. The only problem with celebrities being on every magazine, is the need for some to strive for perfection, some young girls work tirelessly to look like people such as Jordan (Katie Price) and Kate Moss, and ultimately for celebrities the need to look good because of the amount of photo’s which are taken of them is also a pressure.
